Chances are, every one of you would know about the significant Vietnam War that lasted from 1945 to 1975. You will experience a flash of the past through the many graphic pictures and American military equipment being displayed which will take you back to a brutal past of this war. You will find remnants of this war being displayed. A tank, fighter plane and even a 6800 kilogrammes conventional bomb can be seen in this museum. One of the most disturbing things that you will see is the "Tiger Cages" where political prisoners were kept. These cages are 2.7m x 1.5m x 3m each and were being used to keep up 10 to 14 prisoners in them. Intrigued? This is definitely a must-go when you're in Ho Chi Minh, though we do have to caution, that this may not be suitable for the faint-hearted and children. This museum operates daily from 7.30am-12.00pm and from 1.30pm – 5.00pm.
