Head on down to Sentosa to experience a countdown party on the beach at the Siloso where you can groove to all the great tunes like Mambo on the dance floor! If you’re out for some water fun, there’s a foam pool all ready for you to jump in! Otherwise, take a dip in the sea! DJs will be spinning all night long to keep you entertained. Just take note that this party only permits 18 years and above, so for all you mums and dads, don’t be disheartened just yet because there are still other family friendly activities to do!
Family folks, make your way to the Marina Bay Countdown to watch live performances by the local artistes as they accompany into the New Year. Look out for the white wishing spheres floating in the Bay of Hope and Light. Make sure you arrive early to secure a spot for this incredible event as it’ll be filled with people in no time. Prior to this event, spheres are located in various places such as Fullerton Bay and City Link Mall to let everyone write their hopes and wishes on the floating spheres for the upcoming year. Be sure to swing by so you can get yours penned down as well! When countdown strikes at midnight, you’ll be amazed at the spectacular colour filled fireworks!
For the couples, if you do not want to squeeze in with the crowds, take your partner on a romantic ride at the Singapore Flyer on the Private Premium Champagne Capsule to enjoy these sights. Sip on the finest champagne as you gaze into the night sky of lights and fireworks!
For those who want to sightsee, take a cruise along the Singapore River to soak in the night atmosphere of Clarke Quay as you set your gazes on iconic monuments along the river. You’ll also get to enjoy the Marina Bay views on this cruise. The last ride is at 10:30pm.
For those of you who’d like to chill to some music with some friends, head to the myriad of bars along boat quay. Get a mug of beer and chill to the rhythm of the live bands.
Adrenalin seekers, you can’t find a better day to do this. Try the G-Max Reverse Bungee and GX-5 Extreme Swing at Clarke Quay. I promise you there isn’t a better night to be doing this than New Year’s Eve to soak in all the New Year Atmosphere as you are thrown into the air at 100 kilometres (62 miles) per hour!
